Congrats to Hannah and Richard

My cousins Richard and Hannah just had a little baby girl! She was born just at 5.39pm on 18th June and was 6lbs 9oz. Mother and baby doing great. Thea was reluctant to make an entrance and Hannah was induced at 41 1/2 weeks. Her name is THEA MARION STOTT.
Congrats guys!!

I can't wait now... it makes it all very exciting for Jason and I now!

New Baby photos

Just got back from another scan... and ... all is perfectly well!! Kale is doing great. She is growing well and seems to be moving and developing wonderfully. You can count all her fingers in this shot!

In this shot you can see her lower arm bones and fingers.

While we were there we got a ton of test results back. I had some blood tested a few weeks ago for genetic abnormalities... all the tests were negative!

We also got the results back from the big ultrasound that we had a few weeks ago. Everything is great. Kale has all the vital organs she is supposed to have, 4 heart chambers, kidney, bladder and stomach. Her heart is pumping nicely, and the umbilical cord is developed, which is always good news!

So... it was a great ultrasound and all is well!

Almost 19 weeks... it's official... none of my clothes fit!

Yes... thats me! I am almost 19 weeks and getting bigger and bigger. I am wearing clothes that are 2 sizes bigger than normal and my boobs are huge!
My lovely Mum and Dad gave me some money to go and buy some clothes, so luckily I have some clothes that actually fit me!

My Birthday Belly Shots!

I couldn't resist having Natalia take some 'Belly Shots' on my birthday! We have to record the growing lump as much as possible.

Birthday Celebrations

June 7th... My Birthday!!
I had decided to just have a nice quiet chilled out BBQ for my birthday this year... and what I got was a roudy, drunken, rave in my back garden!!
Oh, No... that was my 21st... I did get the prefect day with all my friends. We had some of our closest friends over to BBQ, chat and just have fun.
This is me and my friend Natalia.
She took all the pictures for me! Thanks Nat!
Me and Tara... Tara just moved to Cali from Texas. Jason and I are great friends with her brother Sean, and now great friends with her and her family!
Me and Amy. Amy just got engaged. We are all so excited for her wedding!
Me and Ava May. Ava is Tara's daughter. She is so fun to watch running around. She gave Jason and I an idea of what to expect in a few years!
We should be so lucky!
Ava running around the garden...
Me, Jason and Ava chilling in the garden.
The boys hanging out in the sunshine with a beer.

Ava loves grapes... can you tell?!

My yummy, scrumdidilyumschious birthday cake!! I chose the 'Double Chocolate Cream Pie'... I wonder why?

I was getting so excited for my cake... I couldn't stop myself from being a little silly!

More silly birthday cake pictures... I just wanted to eat it!

After everyone started to leave the remaining few of us went for a walk to the little park at the end of our road 'Pines Park'. We took Jason's electric scooter to play with. Everyone had a quick go... it was funny watching everyone get used to the speed of the scooter!

When Ava saw everyone else having a go, she wanted a turn too!

The boys took a break from the scooter and let the girls have a turn.

Emily did a wicked job riding the scooter. She had a fun time screaming past everyone and jumping from the pathway to the grass! When I had a quick go, I couldn't resist but to travel all the way over to the other side of the park where there was a couple having a lie down... and kiss and cuddle... under some blankets! I certainly put a spanner in the works, but it was HILARIOUS!

Little Ava had a blast at the park, running around on all the playground and playing in the sand. I think her Mum and Dad had an even better time! They were down the slide more times than she was!

The crew walking home after along day of fun fun fun in the sun sun sun!

More baby preparations...

As soon as I found out that we are going to have a daughter I wanted to go out and buy some pink girlie clothes... so I did! I went into Target and got a few little bits to hang up in Kale's bedroom in preparation for her arrival!
This one is one of my favorites... it's got little electric guitars on it!

This one is for Jason... it's got 'Daddy loves me' written on the chest.

This little baby grow was only $3 at Target! I had to get it. It's so cute!

I just loved this little outfit too! I couldn't help myself!

Kale got this cute outfit from our friend's the Harrison Family.

We also got this cute outfit from the Harrison family! They are so generous!

This CUTE little outfit came from our great friends Diane and Frank! It's hand-made by Diane's friend. I can't wait to see Kale in it!

I love this little babygrow... we got it from the Haack Family.

This also came from the Haack Family. I can't wait to put Kale in this!

Last, but by NO means least... my favorite... I wounder why?!

Thank you everyone, who gave Kale a gift already!

Baby Preparations Begin...

Now that Jason and I know we are having a daughter, we have chosen the bedroom colours and cot/ crib sheets and blankets. It's from my favorite shop... Target!
We won't have the dark wood cot/ crib, we have a white one that we are borrowing from Jesi but there is white in the bedding so it'll match great.

The funniest thing happened... My really great friend Tara came over for my birthday BBQ this weekend and brought a little something for Kale... Bearing in mind that I didn't tell anyone about the bedding we had picked for Kale, Tara bought over 3 pieces from the set that we chose! She must be a mind reader. She bought us the little storage box that I wanted, the accessory pillow and the brown chenille blanket.

I can't wait to get Kale's bedroom all set up now...

Our New Pet

Yesterday, Jason and I were in our back gargden with our friend Diane looking at all the overgrown Ivy, when all of a sudden, a Hummingbird flew down right above our heads into the tree. On closer look, we saw that she had a little nest with eggs in it!
We are so excited that we have nesting Hummingbirds in our back garden! More babies on the way!

It's Official.... It's a .....

Jason and I went to the hospital this evening for our 'Big Ultrasound'... the ultrasound is used to look at all my organs and vital bits to make sure they are all ok, it's also used to look at the baby in more detail to make sure it is ok too. The baby wasn't moving as much in this ultrasound but this time it did open up its legs and allow us to have a look and see if it was a boy or girl.
So... I would like to introduce.... Our DAUGHTER..... Kale Lily Kyser!
IT'S A GIRL!!!!
In the above picture, you can see Kale's eye sockets, nose and mouth. It's a face on shot.
In this shot, you can see Kale's spine and organs growing.

Another face on shot, but this time you can see her long arm bone across her chest.

Another profile shot... You can see her spine, and organs again.

Jason and I are so excited to know what we are having because now we can start planning and I can start looking for cute girlie clothes... although if she is anything like her mother, Kale will be a tomboy and want to wear all the boy clothes anyway!!

Our trip to check out Seattle

On Friday 30th May Jason and I flew 2 1/2 hours north to Seattle to see our friends Emily and Marc and to check out the area. We left from Long Beach airport at 6.20pm and arrived in Seattle a few hours later. Marc and Emily were there to meet us. We drove around their neighbourhood for a little while so we could see where they lived and to see if we liked it. It's SO GREEN! There are so many trees EVERYWHERE! It was beautiful! We sat up Friday night chatting for a while and then hit the sack so we were full of energy to head into the city of Seattle on Saturday.

After a yummy 'Emily cooked breakfast' we got ready and headed into the city. We had arranged to meet my cousins Hannah and Richard at Pike Place Market and so headed there first so we could look around a bit before we went for lunch.
It was SO cool! Much better than Kempton!

We wondered around for a while and headed to watch the fish throwing. This fish stall is famous for throwing fish. Basically, when someone orders some fish the men and women there shout a bunch of stuff and then they throw the fish across the counter to each other. Its really fun to watch. They had so much fresh fish... Jason's eyes were popping out his head! I had to pull him away before he bought the whole lot!

There were so many fun things on sale in the market, from clothes, to jewelry to flowers... the flowers were my favorite part. They were so beautiful. They seemed to go on forever.

Once we were done walking around inside we had a walk outside because there was a fun festival going on. We heard some cool music and so headed to the stage where we found bands playing and singing. There was one band that was made up of 14 year old girls... it was fun to watch their confidence.

This drumline is the Seattle Seahawks band. They play at every home game. They were wicked and absolutely hilarious!

We also found the first ever STARBUCKS. Jason loved it!
We were going to go in and get a coffee but the line was soooo long, it would've taken us forever to get served. But we did notice their lovely logo... see if you can spot the difference between the one they are using at the moment.
Once we were done wondering around the market we drove over to see the Space Needle. It wasn't that impressive, but it's one of those things you have to go and look at and take a photo of so you can say you have done it!

Saturday night we went out to dinner to this hilarious restaurant that was kind of a BBQ type place. The food was pretty good, but the decor was a little weird as was our waiter!! But we had so much fun laughing and giggling the whole time!

Sunday morning we got up and headed to Vashon Island. It's one of the many islands that are in the Sound. There are tons of islands and canals and lakes formed by the water that comes in from the ocean. We decided that we wanted to go on a cool ferry ride, so we headed over to the island to look around and get some lunch.
Here we are on the 1st ferry ride over to Vashon Island. The ride was about 15 mins but it was still fun.
It was pretty windy... hence the zipped up coat and chilly look on our faces!

The view of the island from the ferry as we got closer.

While we were driving around, we found tons of houses for sale... none of which we could quite afford, but we also saw some deer... many deer... randomly... everywhere! They were in people's front gardens, driveway's... everywhere.

Sunday night we went to Emily's aunt's house for a yummy BBQ. The food was Great as was the company! While we were there eating dinner, I felt an almighty kick in the tummy... the baby was kicking the crap out of me! Jason felt it for the first time... it was so amazing!

This is a coffee shop chain in Seattle... it's called Chicka Latte... the girls who work inside the shop wear only... a BIKINI!! It made the news here in LA because people were getting all mad because they thought it was indecent for the girls to wear just bikini's.
The funniest thing was the whole time we were in Seattle, we were joking about finding one of these places so the boys could get a coffee... then on the way to the airport we found one. Jason and I had to take a photo of it to send to our friends Marc and Emily!

Apparently, it's one of Marc's favorite places to get coffee!
Even though he doesn't drink coffee!
