Kayle has recently discovered her hands and how yummy they taste!

I think she is chewing on her fingers because she has started teething because she has also sarted dribbling A LOT.

Pack 'em up & Move 'em out

Well, the time has came to pack up our place and move out! Jason got great job up in Washington and was leaving in a week and so we had to get packed up and moved out of our place in 5 days! What fun! I was a little worried because it was taking me so long to get anything done with Kayle and working but our friends came to the rescue and basically did everything!

Our friend Jenn came down to our place on Saturday morning to look after Kayle for me so that I could pack up the bedrooms and bathrooms. It was kind of fun because we got to chat and catch up while I was packing. It was also fun because I got to experience what it felt like to have a nanny for the day!!

Then on Sunday all of our Homegroup came over and packed up everything that was left. The girls started in the kitchen and got all of that packed up, I didn't even make it in there!

The boys were loading up the van and moving the heavy stuff. We were SO grateful for their help because there is NO way we would have got it done without them.Sunday evening and Monday I spent my time cleaning the house from top to bottom while Jason did a dump run and took our stuff to the shipping company.

We stayed with some friends during the move because we were technically 'homeless'! We all stayed at Chico and Mariah's for a week or so and then Kayle and I stayed with Kristy and Darin for a few nights before we headed up to Newport to stay with Jesi, Ryan and Jonah.

I can't wait to get to our new home... not long to go now!

Jonah helps put Kayle to sleep

Last week Jonah wanted to help me to Kayle to sleep... so he sang her a song and rocked her in the rocking chair.

Big Girl on Mummy & Daddy's Big Bed

I just found out that Kayle loves to lie and sleep on Mummy & Daddy's big bed!

I took Kayle to be weighed yesterday... she is now a wopping 11lb 10oz! The nurse said she is doing really well... we have her 2 month check up next week, its a week or so late... oops!

New Toys to play with

Kayle got a new Playmat for Christmas from her Granny & Grandad.
We set it up today for her to try and she loved it.While I was setting it up she was watching me and smiling and laughing. I attached all the new toys that her Uncle Paul, Aunty Sarah & Big cousin Stanley gave her for Christmas and she loved looking at all the bright colours.

When I first put Kayle in it she was little unsure but she started hitting things and then started smiling... it was so fun to watch her playing.

So Cute!

First New Years Eve

New Years Eve this year was fun... we went over to our friends house for a Games Night and ended up playing RockBand all evening, it was SO fun!

We rocked out to all the classics... Duran Duran, Blondie, Nirvana, Linkin Park... it was so funny watching everyone concentrating!

Everyone who came over has children or expecting so we saw in the New Year with New York at 9pm our time so that everyone could get their kiddies home to bed.
