Diva Model Shoes

Now... before you look any further at the photos, just prepare yourself for something you will NEVER forget...
Jason came home from work last week with a present for Kayle... one of his customers gave him some 'shoes' for Kayle to play with. They are 'Diva Model' shoes!
Now, if you know our little Kayle, you will know that she LOVES shoes! I'm begining to think she may very well be a shoe designer!
Let's put it this way... she likes her new shoes so much that she hasn't stopped playing with them and even wanted to go to bed with them last night!
She wanted to model a few pairs for you!

You get the real FULL effect of the shoes when she is in just her nappy/diaper!

She is surprisingly good at walking in them already!

She is much better than her Mum, thats for sure!

New Jimmie Jams

I finally finished Kayle's Pj's that I made... 8 weeks after starting them!
There were a few hick-ups along the way, but with some help and advice from, Granny, we got them finished and they actually fit!

I'm actually quite proud of them! I might have to make some more!

Caught in the act

I was in the kitchen the other morning getting our lunch ready and Kayle went quiet... when that happens it normally means that she is up to no good...
I went to find her... and found this!!She had found my cream and was having lots of fun with it!

Fun with our friends

While the boys were busy on the deck, the Mummy's were inside babysitting or cooking! It was the least we could do!

The girls had so much fun watching the boys out the window!
But then they wanted to get out there and help...

So, we took the girls outside to play... and boy, did they have fun!
They played together nicely for a few hours.
Picking flowers for each other and their Mummy's...

Of course, girls wouldn't be girls without getting into trouble a few times... they found it quite fun to pull as hard as they could on Hannah's veggie garden supports! They were rocking back and forth for ages trying to pull them out... needless to say, they managed!
Playing on the garden swing...
At one point, they were laughing so hard, Kayle had 2
HUGE snot bubbles coming out of her nose!
That just made Thea laugh even more!

We all had a really fun day together!

Deck building project

Last weekend, we all headed to over to my 'cousin' Richard's house to help him re-build his deck. Richard demolished the old deck before we got there so that the boys could get straight to work!
The boys had to place all the new wood, nail it down and then cut and place the next boards.
All the boys, 6 of them, worked all day on the deck to get it finished... even Rich got his hands dirty banging in nails!
At one point, they even let Rich have some fun with a nail gun!
(I know, I asked if that was a good idea before hand!)
Even the girls wanted to watch and join in the fun!
The hard working boys at the end of a very long day!
The finished product with a very happy family!
