Another famliy gathering

The whole 'Morris' clan gathered at my Mum and Dad's house
again on what seemed to be the only sunny day of the whole summer

The sun goes down on 4th july

In the evening Jason and I drove back to the harbor after just escaping the water fight with our lives and picked up Jesi, Ryan, Jonah, Jenn, Laura, Natalie and Casey for an evening drive and an evening swim!
Jonah loved being on the boat and was giggling and laughing the whole time... or at least till the fireworks started and he fell asleep!
Some of the braver girls decided to go for a swim in the 72.2degree ocean! It was a it chilly for me though... plus where did those dolphins go?!
Once it got dark we headed back to the harbor to get a good spot by the barge that was being used for the fireworks and we watched them up close and personal. The fireworks were amazing from the boat and we now know what we are doing for next year!

4th July water fight

Its the 4th July 2007 in Dana Point, Southern California and Jason and I decided to celebrate by taking Blue Thunder for a drive. Boy, did we get some surprises! we drove south to see Jesi and Ryan at their beach party and then went to chill out and get some much needed sun! We found a pod of dolphins and chilled with them for a little while and then we decided to head for a cruise around the harbor... we got the biggest surprise of all there.
Imagine about 50 boats and dingies of all sizes... all armed with water guns and buckets and hoses...
Now imagine them all speeding around the harbor trying to soak each other...
It was the most hilarious thing Jason and I have ever seen...

It was the biggest water fight ever!! And the bad news is that we were UNARMED!
We drove through the channel where the water fight was and got soaked by the attackers...
We will be more prepared for next year, thats for sure!
