Flamingo... cha cha cha!

We all went to a typical Flamigo night. We were sat in a little 'cave' that was all decorated and then out of no-where a little band comes in and then these crazy ladies start dancing.
They were amazing. The aldies were of all ages but were all very good. They were stamping their feet so hard and clapping.
There was one older lady who was singing to all the men... she was hilarious. Then, I get pulled up and have to dance with this lady!

Are you for skooba??

Jason and I bought our snorlking gear with us when we went to Spain because we wanted to explore the bottom of the Spainish Ocean! We had so much fun swimming around and looking at stuff. I am lucky enough to have a water-proof camera so we were able to capture some great shots!

Here's Jason in action!
And here's me looking good!
We saw so many fish of all different clolours, shopes and sizes, but the problem is getting them on camera! They are so fast!
Here's a good one... it took me 123 tries to get this 1 shot!

The Al - am - bra

Mum, Dad, Jason and I got up nice and early and went and got in the ticket line for
The Al-am-bra! We got in and walked around all day and had fun learning about the 'last symbol of Muslim power in the liberian peninsula'...
I don't know what that means, but it was cool to look at!
This is an old house!
This is the side of the worship center.
This is inside the palace... the detail on the side of the wall was amazing. It was all little tiles and hand carved decorations.
Mum needed a break... she llooks like she was taking a phone call break but she was really listening to the information device that told us exactly what we were looking at!

This was the outside of the palace. the little lake was so cool... if you caught the light right on the lake you could get a perfect reflection of the palace.

Grrrranada

We left Javea and drove 5 hours East to Granada. We had a great time walking around looking at all the old buildings and experiencing all the traditions.
We got hassled by the Gypsy women, we ate gooood food, we chilled by the
swimming pool and we walked... and walked and walked! Fun was had, thats for sure,
but cold drinks were appreciated more! My Dad just saw the biggest Church in the whole of Europe... can you tell that he was amazed!

This is a normal shopping street... you had better hold on to your
bag as you are walking through here!

Mum spotted a right bargain!

A well needed rest...

Dad had a great time playing with the fish at the Alhambra.

How much do we look like tourists in this shot!

Could we have anything else hanging around our necks...

Me and my Pops...

This is normal street in the Old Town of Granada. The streets are paved
with the most amazing stones. Every pattern is different.

We spent some time walking around the little old streets, we saw some amazing old buildings.

We had lunch at this cute little restaurant in the town square.

Granada Old Town.

My Dad - The Typical English Tourist.

Argghhh... what a lovely couple!

The Alhambra.

This is a normal street in the Old Town... we got on a bus that managed to fit down this street with about an inch with side. The bus rides were worrying to say the least!

The floods

The funniest thing happened when Jason and I were at home in Hounslow... we were outside talking to my dad as he was loading his van for work and it started raining.... and it continued to rain... and rain... and rain!!! It rained so long and so hard that the end of our road flooded!

Steven took Jason and I to Aldi to get Jonah's birthday present and we almost drowned! The water at the end of the road was so deep that it came up over the front of Steven's car! Then once we got to Aldi Steven chose to park in the one spot that had a 3inch deep puddle right by the doors! We stepped out of the car and into the puddle!

It was fun being back in the rain though! I wanted to go and get my bike and ride through the flood at the end of the road like we used to when we were little!

Our Trip back to rainy England

The Thursday we landed we went straight round to see Paul & Sarah's lovely new house. We had fun catching up with them both & getting to play with Stanley!

He is such a character...

He has this really cool little tent that he loves to just chill in & play in.

Paul & Sarah have been busy decorating their new place & as you can see Stanley has been extremely eager to help his mummy & daddy in any way he can!

We discovered that Stanley has taken after his
Mum in more ways that was first thought...

Our Europe Trip... The Family altogether again!

After a long flight and a very yummy Roast Dinner and a few beers we attempted to take a nice family picture... after 7 tries, these are the best we could do!

At least we managed to get almost
all of us looking at the camera
& smiling & not making silly faces.
