Last day fun and frolocks

Our last day was fast approaching, so we got a few last bits and pieces checked off our 'To Do' list... I really wanted to get Kayle's footprint done for her picture frame, so Grandad helped with that while Granny took photos and uncle Steven laid on the sofa!
The painting part was easy for Grandad...

But Kayle is getting so heavy now, its hard to life her up and down!

Once we were all done and cleaned up from the foot painting, we decided to go get some breakfast. Grandad took the wheel and pushed Kayle on her bike.
By the time we made it to the restaurant, they weren't serving breakfast anymore, so we got lunch... Steven got this crazy big nacho's meal!
Once we were done eating, we decided to go for a walk to try to burn off some of the food we just ate. We walked to the supermarket to get some bits for Steven's friends... Kayle decided she didn't want to walk anymore!!
We had to get a photo with the local fire engine...
I took Mum, Dad & Steven to the local Outlet shops and Steven managed to spend the last of his money on a REALLY sweet new ski outfit!
We couldn't take any more waling so we headed home for some snacks!
And some rest...
And some playtime...
We had a GREAT time altogether...

Family Fun in Seattle

After we got home from Idaho, the following day we took Mum, Dad & Steven into Seattle to do the 'Tourist thing' and to spend the day with mum's sister, Pauline and her husband David.
First things first, Pike Place Market and LUNCH! Of course, everyone wanted seafood and fish and chips so we headed down to the waterfront to eat.

Once we were done eating, we had a nice walk up to the monorail, which took us to the Space Needle.

Kayle had fun sitting with Great Uncle David on the monorail.

We got some lovely photos of Mum & Aunty Pauline.
They haven't seen each other in about 18 months!

We all headed up the Space Needle... despite some reservations about the height!

Once we were done with the Space Needle, we all headed bac to the monorial and onto our 'Duck Ride'!
A 'Duck' is an old World War 2 vehicle that goes on land as well as water. It's bascially this crazy tour of the city on both land and water.

Poor little Kayle was exhausted and fell asleep straight away... despite some seriously loud music, singing and cheering!

Last stop on our tour... was to the first ever Starbucks. Everyone wanted to go in and see itm but Steven wanted to buy himself a coffee and souvenier mug!

Local sight-seeing

I took Mum, Dad & Steven around our little town... we went to Snoqualmie Falls which is this crazy waterfalls that the city uses to generate electricity.

Steveo had fun pushing his little neice... they formed quite a bond while he was here... Kayle would constantly shout 'Stevie... Stevie... see you Stevie.'
It was great seeing him playing with her!

Water gun fun...

I took Mum, Dad and Steven into the big town, Issaquah to get a few bits and pieces before we headed off to Idaho... while we were there, Mum decided to buy Kayle a paddling pool and a water gun!
Needless to say, we had lots of fun squirting each other and getting each other wet!
Grandad taught Kayle how to fire the gun as well as suirt Granny & Steven with her bath toys!

We were all soaked!

We had a really good laugh!
The little villian herself!

Our brave jumping jelly-fish!

Kayle took some time to pluck up the courage to jump off the back of the boat, but by the 2nd day she was doing it without any problems...

At one point, she wanted to jump off without one of us in the water! We had to watch her like a hawk because she would climb up on the back seats and then try to get to the back of the boat.

Sunshine.. Boat... Wakeboarding... all good!

On Sunday, we got all packed up and headed to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho for a nice holiday! Jason and I haven't had a relaxing holiday in ages so we decided to take Mum, Dad & Steven there to relax in the sun.
We took the boat but had a few problems the first day, so we decided to relax on the beach while it was being fixed. Kayle certainly had fun playing in the water with Granny & Grandad!
On the 2nd day the boat was fixed so we didn't waste any time taking it out... we weren't sure how Kayle would do because she hasn't been out on it since she was a baby... but... she did great and was even jumping off the back of the boat into our arms! (Video to come!)

Kayle loved just hanging out in the water with us... she had so much fun swimming!

We had a great time the first day just hanging out on the boat... we found this great hiden cove and had a fun just anchoring off and chilling out.

We had one tired baby each and every day... she always fell asleep on the boat.
So did some other people!

It was so nice being able to just jump off the back of the boat and hang out in the water to cool off... and to pee!!

Kayle enjoying getting to run riot on the boat... she especially like the drivers seat!

This pretty much sums up the holiday... chilling out in the sun with a few beers on the boat!! (It also sums up my brother pretty well!!)
Dad had a great time on the boat just getting to sit around and do nothing...

We had a great time teaching Steven how to wakeboard too.. he worked really hard and got pretty good by the end of the 2nd day!
Dad was our 'Flagman'... every time one of us was in the water he had his flag up in the air straight away... he even stood up and screamed and shouted when someone got a bit close!
We all cracked up laughing!
Jason and I got to work on our wakebaord sillks too... I managed to pluck up enough courage to jump the wake... it was really fun until I face-planted into the wake as I landed and shook my brain!
Jason had lots of fun too!

Kayle loved hanging out with her Granny.

We had to make sure that Kayle was wearing a hat all the time because the sun was pretty hot... she didn't want to wear her hat... but wanted to wear her dads!!!

Mum enjoyed relaxing in the sun!

So did Dad and Kayle... wile eating a nice bag of crisps (chips).
Steven made the most of the peace and quiet on the last day and got in some reading time!

Here is the cool cove we found.. it was towards the end of the lake and was very secluded..
it was so peaceful!
We all enjoyed our last splash in the water before we had to get the boat out the water and start our journey home...
Once we got all the boat our the water and the car loaded up, we decided to take one last stroll around the boardwalk to have a look at the 'Wooden Boat Festival'. There were tons of old classic wooden boats... they were amazing. While we were walking around we also decided to treat ourselves to a nice BIG ice-cream! Grandad & Kayle shared a Mint Choc Chip!
Our last walk on the boardwalk... Kayle got tired towards the end and got a ride from her Grandad!

Then she managed to con her grandad and Uncle into giving her a ride...
they were counting '1, 2, 3... woooo' and then swinging her inthe air. Even when they were all done, Kayle was still shouting '1,2,3... wooo'!
We all had a great time and really enjoyed just relaxing in the warm sunshine...
