Great Wolf Lodge fun

Sunday afternoon, we headed to Great Wolf Lodge for the first time with our very dear friends Terrance, Kari and Elijah.  Great Wolf Lodge is a big indoor water park.

As soon as we arrived Kayle was having fun... she got a balloon sword made for her and then got to colour her animal picture.

As soon as Kari and Terrance arrived, we all got changed and headed to the pool!  It was really good fun.  Kayle and Elijah loved the kiddie pool as it had the best playground for them.

Kari and I plucked up the courage to go up the tallest water slide!  If you know me, you know I am petrified of water... ocean, sea, pools, slides... you name it, it scare the heebies begeebies out of me!
But... life is all about fun and first for me so... YOLO baby!  We did it! (You Only Life Once!)
It was hilarious!  We were both so scared.  Neither of us wanted to go down backwards, so we let the member of staff decide for us.  She turn our 'boat' sideways and let the current take us naturally.  At first Kari was turning then our of nowhere comes this blast of current and it turns me to go backwards.  I have never screamed so loud ever!  Kari was just laughing at me the whole time, which made me laugh and scream at the same time... Hilarious!  When we got off, my legs were shacking, but I wanted to do more!  By the time our trip was over, we did all the slides and had a blast!

Once our playtime in the evening was over, we got dressed quickly and went to Story Time.  Boy, was it busy!  But we managed to squeeze in so the kids would listen.

Kayle had a nice time listening... she really enjoyed it.

Once Story Time was over, it snowed... they have a snow machine in the lobby so it was really fun for the kids to experience the snow.

We had a great time all weekend!  It was wonderful to spend time with our friends.

We are now planning our next trip together!

Lots of Laughs with Nat

My Super Duper buddy from Southern California came to visit last week!  I was so excited to see her... all we did was laugh and joke and be silly... nothing different there then!

As soon as she arrived, we went to see Snoqualmie Falls.  It was a nice day so we had to take advantage of being outdoors!

We have had a lot of rain here recently so the falls were rushing!  The spray from the falls was crazy... it made us all wet!

We had a nice chilled evening... we watched TV and movies and just hung out and chatted.  It was so nice to have Nat here!

The following morning we woke up early and headed to Leavenworth for the day.  I thought this would be an great place to show Nat... we had such a laugh hanging out in the village.

Kayle enjoyed having Nat in the back of the car with her on the journey!

We found some wonderful fashion statements while we were there!

We also found lots of yummy food...

The best thing about Leavenworth is that it has a Christmas Shop all year round... we had fun looking in there at all the decorations.  We wanted to buy so much stuff!

WE walked right the way through the village and ended up at a fantastic little cafe... for a treat!

On our way home, we were rocking out to some tunes and decided to make a music video!  So, we got all ready in outfits (PJs) and hair styles and we were set.  We spent ages rehearsing and then finally got our moves down and videoed it.  It was so much fun... and Jason joined in too!  He was fantastic!

Once we were done with our video, we put Kayle to bed and then we were exhausted!

Next day was work... I had to work in the morning and Nat came with me!  It was so fun introducing her to all our friends.

Once we were done with church, we headed into Seattle for the afternoon before Nat had to leave.
To add to our adventure, when we pulled into the car park I noticed an unusual noise coming from the car.  Turns out we had a flat tire!  So, before we could go have fun, we had to change the tire!  First time I had to do this without my Dad, Husband or Brother to help, so it was fun!

We put on our temporary tire and headed out to continue our adventure!

We walked and took a look at the EMP... really want to go in this place!

Then we headed to the Space Needle.

We took a trip up the needle... it was the first time Nat had been up there so it was fun showing her around.  It was pretty chilly up there!

Next stop was Pike Place Market and of course... the Original Starbucks!  With Nat being a Starbucks addict, it was a logical choice for a visit!

We had to sit on the Gold Pig!

Last stop... was the new Seattle Ferris Wheel!

It goes pretty high... and you go out over the water... plus it was a bit windy, so we were a bit scared!

Once we were done with being scared, we went for some lunch.  It was yummy!  While we were having lunch, the girl serving us gave us some free tickets for the Carousel, so that was our last stop!

The carousel is Kayle's favorite, so she had a great time...

Nat and I on the other hand... got a little dizzy... and felt a little sick!

We had an amazing time together, I can't wait for Nat to come back and visit again!
Nat has been an amazing friend to me over the last few years, her support and love has really helped me on bad days to stay focused.

Did I tell you I was going to see The Ellen Show??

I got a phone call from my AMAZING sister-in-law about 2 weeks ago to tell me to check my email.  When I opened my email, there was a confirmation for 2 VIP tickets to The Ellen Show.  If you know me, you know I love The Ellen Show.  It makes me laugh when I am not feeling very good.  I think Ellen is hilarious.

So, I packed my bag (3 days in advance!) and headed to the airport.  I got to enjoy some quiet, alone, time on my flights to Orange County which was wonderful.  I got to read my book and just relax.  When I got to Jesi's house, we had a yummy dinner and had fun doing crafts together.

The following morning was Halloween so we went to see Jonah in his school costume parade which was really fun.  I loved seeing all the kids dressed up.  Then, it was time to get ready!  We got all dressed up and hit the road... we were so excited!

We grabbed some lunch before we got to the studio and then headed in...

October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

When we got to the parking garage, we checked in with security and got our hand stamps and got our tickets...
There was a little bit of waiting around, but then we headed into the studio... we didn't think we would get seats at the front because we were towards the back of the VIP line, but when we got in, the lady in charge specifically called us to sit RIGHT AT THE FRONT!  We were in the front row... on the aisle!  It was awesome!

Our seats were just amazing!  We had such a fun time together!

It was so wonderful to get that special time with Jesi and to have a great memory with her.  I am so thankful to the people who made that happen for me!  It was always something I wanted to do but never thought in a million years that it would actually happen.
