Lake Mohave here we come!

On Friday 4th May Jason and I and a few of our friends decided to take Blue Thunder and head north to Lake Mohave for the weekend. We left after work and made great progress, until we hit the 95 in California and the 95 in Arizona and the 95 in Nevada and ended up getting a little lost! Because the lake is in between 3 states the roads are all complicated!


Even funnier than that was almost running out of petrol in the middle of NOWHERE and then seeing a light in the distance... we drove towards the light... and it was a petrol station... it was hilarious when we realised it was a petrol station because we all screamed and cheered!


We finally arrived at 3am and hit the sack straight away!


Fun was had on the lake though despite all our adventures on the way and whilst on the lake... like hitting the propeller on a big old rock right below the surface and having to get towed in by a random person in a boat!


We tried to wakeboard whilst there but the wind was really strong and so it made the waves really choppy. But we did have fun trying. The water was pretty cold though!

Fun was had by all and some of us (Jason and Emily) got some sun... in fact they got ALOT of sun!!
