Boat Fun with Friends and Family!

The day after the Warrior Dash, we hit the lake in the sun for some more fun!

Kayle and River were ready for the fun!

We played around on the boat all day, wake boarding, eating, hanging out and just laughing!

I love my family!

It's time... time for THE WARRIOR DASH!

I have wanted to do the Warrior Dash since we did a car-parking fundraiser for church lat year... so it was time.  We got a team together and hot the road for Maple Valley!

I made our team some shirts and we formed 'Team Cancer Sucks'!

My sister and her bestest buddy, Jenn came up from California to take part in the run!

Nervous was a good word to describe how I was feeling... I had promised myself that I would do as many of the obstacles as possible, but wouldn't push myself.

We were ready... we lined up at the end of our time group and was ready to go!

The race begun... and we made our way through the course!

Bales of hay were some of first fun obstacles... along with lots of mud!

But we conquered them... and hit the 'Over / Under' run! 

My team were amazing... they helped me up, down, over and under!

Cargo Net anyone...?   Yup, we made it over that too... with help from my friends!

Oh yes, then more mud... that was so fun!

We all survived the course and had a wonderful time doing so!

Such a fun experience with friends!

This stupid cancer stinks, but it has motivated me to have fun with friends and family and just enjoy life to the full!

The Faithful Fighters Car Fundraiser

The 3 day walk fundraising continues...

I had planned a Car Scavenger Hunt to try to raise some money for our team!  We had a good turn out and a fun day was had by all!

We got some little trophies for the team with the fastest time and most points!!

Although we only had a few people turn out we all had a great time and managed to raise over $300 for our team!

New Kids on the Block... oh yes... you read right!

If you know me, you know I love New Kids On The Block and have done since I was about 10 years old... so, when they announced their new tour, I was first on the starting block to buy tickets.  I got 12 tickets and planned a girls night out!

We all dressed in pink, decorated the Nap Van and hit the road for the concert!  

We grabbed a quick bite to eat and then headed over to the Tacoma Dome!

As you may be able to tell... I was just a little excited when they came on!

The cencert didn't just include New Kids... it was also Boyz 2 Men and 98 degrees!

We all had a great time dancing and singing!

I love my friends!

4th July Celebrations with friends

This 4th of July, we decided to go quiet... last year was too much for us!

We went out on the boat as a family and just relaxed swimming in the lake and driving around.   We parked up and had a yummy lunch and then met our friends for dinner and fireworks!

We drove the boat over to gas Works Park and got comfy... while we were waiting for the fireworks to start, someone let off an illegal firework and it set a boat storage unit on fire!  

Our quiet night turned into another adventure, but we had a fabulous time with our friends!
