Viva La Mexico

While Julie was here we took her to Mexico camping for the weekend... the weather was crap and we got totally soaked the first night. Poor Julie ended up sleeping in my Jeep with Natalia because the weather was so bad. However, the sun did shine and we went into the town for a Margarita and a burger!!

While we were in the main town, we decided to head to the beach for a walk. Then we spotted something... horse rides along the beach!

We thought it would be fun... and it turned out to be hilarious!

The young guy who was running the rides decided to make our horses run seriously fast along the beach... making us all scream and giggle so much that some of us thought we were going to die! It was hilarious though!

A visit from a fellow Brit!

Yeah... Julie is here!!!

I was so happy to have my friend Julie here for 10 days! We planned some fun trips and adventures.

I am so lucky to have a friend like Julie because while she was here I got some horrible news that my Nan was very ill in hospital. Things were getting worse for my Nan and she eventually died on Friday 24th March.

Luckily I had Jason and Julie's shoulders to cry on and they were both so supportive. Being so far away was very hard because I didn't get to see her before she died, my last words were through an email via my mum.

Never the less, we did have some fun times while she was here.

New Addition to the Kyser family

Well... I know what most of you are thinking when you read the title of this post... but, no we are not having a baby, we just bought a baby! We decided that our little old banger wasn't cutting it anymore and so we went to look at new cars... and we came back with a brand new 2006 Toyota Tacoma truck!

Luckily I am the one who gets to drive 'The Mean Machine' every day but I do let Jason have a turn at the weekends!

Our move back to the US

On December 23rd 2005 Jason and I decided that it was time to head back to the land of warm weather and big burgers. We stayed with Jason's sister, Jesi for a few weeks while we looked for an apartment. We eventually found a great little 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place with the best ocean view ever! We get to see some truly beautiful sunsets too.

We are 5 minutes from some great beaches and 5 minutes from some great shops too!

Its a pretty cool place that we like very much!

More Christmas Celebrations - US styleee!

Well, needless to say, we had another
Christmas when we got back to the US
at Jason's parents.

We went snowboarding to the local mountain
and just hung out with the family.

We also got some great news... we were going
to Anutie and Uncle AGAIN!

Jesi was pregnant and although a little
surprised, they were excited to become
parents. Jesi and Ryan broke the news
by giving Jason's parents, Ken and Sue,
a little t-shirt... it read 'Future Surf Dude'.
A few tears were shed but laughs
and smiles were more frequent.

Ryan, the father to be, is a surf nut, so that made the t-shirt so much more hilarious to receive!

Christmas Celebrations

Before Jason and I boarded our plane back to the land of big burgers we had a Morris family Christmas celebration. We exchanged pressies and said our goodbyes along with taking some great family picks! We also said goodbye to the small itsy bitsy baby that was going to grow into my first nephew!!
