Eggs, Eggs, Where are you?

Kayle go to take part in her first Easter Egg hunt on Sunday. We went to some friends house for a yummy big dinner and then the kids got to search for eggs!

Kayle did such a good job looking around and finding them!

She didn't have a basket to put them in so we stuffed them in her pockets.

The one problem came when an older kid found an empty egg in the grass and convinced Kayle to switch her egg full of sweets with his empty one! Kayle just handed over the goodies!

It was hilarious seeing her walk around all happy that she had found 1 empty egg!

Maybe next year she will understand better!

Training her young

Jason and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary a few days ago... I can't believe it has been 6 years already! Where has that time gone!

To celebrate, we had some friends look after Kayle for us while we went out for a yummy 'All you can eat' dinner. We had some extra time to waste after dinner before we had to pick up Kayle so we headed to the shops to look for some ceiling fans. We decided to buy each other one as our presents for our anniversary! (The joys of being a home owner!)

Well, we put the first one up and boy did Kayle have fun with the packaging! She destroyed the polystyrene packaging in 5 minutes and made a huge mess... the good thing was, that she wanted to hoover up for me!

She wouldn't let me do any of it! She wouldn't even let me touch the hoover!

I'm training her young! hehe!

Snow Day

Last weekend Jason and I went snowboarding with some friends and took Kayle to play in nice deep snow for the first time. We bundled her up in all her snow gear and headed up the mountain. At first she was a little confused by it all, but she 'warmed' up to it and actually wanted to touch and play with it all.

Jason found her some nice deep snow to play in...

When it came time to leave, boy, was she mad at us!

But fun was had by all... and Jason and I had some seriously sore body parts at the end of the day.

Fun at the Aquarium

Its Spring Break here at the moment so Kayle and I hit The Seattle Aquarium with some of the kids from work. I have never heard her say 'ish' so many times! She had so much fun running around after Gabi & Sydney and looking at all the fish, seals & otters.

We are in BIG trouble

I am beginning to think that Jason and I could be in for a tough run once Kayle hits her teens. Not only does she love handbags, but she also loves Hats, and now she has developed a crazy love for shoes... and not just hers, but anyones that she can get her hands on!

Tired?

Kayle has been quite the social butterfly recently... and its showing!

I got her lunch all ready and put her in her chair to eat it and popped into the bedroom to get ready for work... when suddenly she went all quiet! When I went into the kitchen to make sure she was ok this is what I found!

3's Trouble

We've had some lovely sunshine recently, so kayle & I have to going to the park with some friends to take advantage!

Kayle spent the first 20 minutes running around playing follow-my-leader with her friends. It was hilarious watching them.

Then, they all decided it was time to hit the actual playground and play... still following each other everywhere!
