Go England Go

Picture this... me sat in my England shirt with my big England flag hanging in my sitting room window... with my England hat on... watching the game trying to be as quiet as possible because Jason is still asleep... then he walks into see me looking less than attractive!!

I watched as many of the games as I could but I still had to work some days. I watched the game against Portugal with Jason and was completely devastated to see them go out because certain players are paid millions of pounds but cannot kick a penalty properly!

Happy Birthday to you

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to meeeeee, Happy Birthday to me!

Yes, it was my birthday a few days ago and we had a Murder Mystery Dinner Party to celebrate.

Each guest was allocated a character to be and they had to play
that person all evening whilst having a yummy
dinner and a few beverages.

Everyone came all dressed up as their character
and they looked great.

A new addition to the Morris family!

On Wednesday 17th May 2006 a wonderful
new addition was made to the Morris family...

My older brother Paul and his girlfriend Sarah
had a baby boy named Stanley Albert Morris.

He is absolutely gorgeous... so is nothing like
his father!!

He was born at 12.47pm and weighed 6lb 10oz.

Sarah had to have a caesarian but was doing
well a few weeks after he was born.

Stanley was sick a few times straight
after being born but is now perfect in
every way!

He's been keeping mother and father busy.

My Mum and Dad are over the moon at
becoming grandparents. My mum was so happy
to meet her new Grandson. They have been
spoiling him rotten!

An Early Trip back to the UK

At the beginning of April I got what I always wanted... a trip back to the UK to see the family... it was, however, for a horrible reason... my Nan's funeral.

I had such mixed feelings... I was over the moon to go home and see my family and friends, but I was devastated because I was going back to say goodbye to my lovely Nan.

I saw all my best friends while I was back and got to spend some quality time with my Mum and Dad and brothers too.

The funeral was really hard... seeing my dad so upset was the worst bit. I have never seen him so sad.

All the grandkids got together via email before I came back and we put together a few of our best memories of Nan. I read at the funeral with the support of my brother Steven.

Once the funeral was over we all headed to a great little pub and said our goodbyes by celebrating Nan's life... and we had a few beers too!

It was great seeing the family, but it was even harder saying goodbye!

Viva La Mexico

While Julie was here we took her to Mexico camping for the weekend... the weather was crap and we got totally soaked the first night. Poor Julie ended up sleeping in my Jeep with Natalia because the weather was so bad. However, the sun did shine and we went into the town for a Margarita and a burger!!

While we were in the main town, we decided to head to the beach for a walk. Then we spotted something... horse rides along the beach!

We thought it would be fun... and it turned out to be hilarious!

The young guy who was running the rides decided to make our horses run seriously fast along the beach... making us all scream and giggle so much that some of us thought we were going to die! It was hilarious though!

A visit from a fellow Brit!

Yeah... Julie is here!!!

I was so happy to have my friend Julie here for 10 days! We planned some fun trips and adventures.

I am so lucky to have a friend like Julie because while she was here I got some horrible news that my Nan was very ill in hospital. Things were getting worse for my Nan and she eventually died on Friday 24th March.

Luckily I had Jason and Julie's shoulders to cry on and they were both so supportive. Being so far away was very hard because I didn't get to see her before she died, my last words were through an email via my mum.

Never the less, we did have some fun times while she was here.

New Addition to the Kyser family

Well... I know what most of you are thinking when you read the title of this post... but, no we are not having a baby, we just bought a baby! We decided that our little old banger wasn't cutting it anymore and so we went to look at new cars... and we came back with a brand new 2006 Toyota Tacoma truck!

Luckily I am the one who gets to drive 'The Mean Machine' every day but I do let Jason have a turn at the weekends!
